Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located on 2200 Dundas Street East in Mississauga between 427 and Dixie on the south side. We are just west of highway 427 in the same plaza as the Muddy Duck restaurant. Just look for a big duck on the side of the plaza.
Q. What are your store hours?
A. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 11 am to 7 pm, Thursday 11 am to 9 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm , Sunday 12 to 5 pm, we are closed on Mondays.
Q. How long have you been in business?
A. Bridal & Beyond has been in business since August 2003 and has since grown to be one of the largest and most reputable bridal retailers in the GTA. Bridal & Beyond has won numerous awards, including the Mississauga News Bride’s Choice Award, and the Consumer Choice Award.
Q. Do you price match?
A. Yes, we only do price matches on special order dresses. Bridal & Beyond has a lowest price guarantee and will match in-store DRESS prices within the GTA subject to Management approval. We will need 1) the name of the store, 2) the designer, 3) style number, 4) is it off-the-rack or special order and 5) regular price & discounted price. Sorry we do not match online or US prices.
Q. What is your refund policy on non-special order items?
A. You have 14 days for full refund or exchange with the original receipt, excluding, special orders, deposits, personal items, earrings or necklace sets containing earrings, clearance, or any final sale items.

Q. What is the lead time required to order dresses?
A. Lead time to order dresses in-store are:

Remember the above is the time required for us to physically order and receive dresses. Whenever possible, it is best to double the above lead time so that in case something were to go wrong, there is time to correct it.
Q. Are the special order delivery dates guaranteed?
A. No, all delivery dates provided, including rush orders, are approximate only. Bridal & Beyond will ensure all orders arrive before the wedding date provided, however, it is up to you, the customer, to provide us with sufficient lead time to avoid last minute panic and stress.
Q. Can I order a colour swatch for my dress to match my wedding accessories?
A. No, unfortunately we are unable to special order in colour swatches for customers. However, we do have swatches available for you to take home for selected designers, including, Alfred Angelo, Belsoie/B2, and Maggie Sottero. For other designers, such as After Six, Dessy, Alfred Sung, you can sometimes order it on-line at the designer’s web site.
SPECIAL ORDRES
Q. If you do not have a sample of a dress can you still order it?
A. Yes, we can order any dress from designers that we carry in season if you wish to purchase it. However, it is very important that you make sure you tried the dress on at another store or at the very lead another dress in a similar silhouette to make sure it is “The Dress”. Once the order is placed, the deposit is 100% non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Q. Do I need to leave a deposit to order a dress or other items?
A. Yes, for any special order (i.e. anything we do not currently have in stock and must be order in specifically for you) you must leave a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the regular price of the item before taxes. Extra charges for special order items including, plus size charges, rush charge, customization, fabrics, beads, shawls, etc., must be paid in full.
Q. Do I need to leave a deposit for tuxedo rental?
A. Yes, in order for us to take measurements and order your tuxedo, we need a $25 non-refundable deposit. However, if you wish to just reserve the tuxedo for your bridal party until they can come in for measurements at a later date, you can complete a tuxedo registration form free of charge.
MEASUREMENTS
Q. I normally wear a size 8, why am I ordering a size 10 bridal dress?
A. Bridal and bridesmaid dresses tend to fit 1 to 2 sizes smaller than regular street wear so do not be concern if the dress you order is 1 or 2 (sometimes 3) sizes bigger than your average dress (do not use jean sizing as a reference). Please note Bridal & Beyond can only provide size recommendations based on manufacturer size charts and other sizing factors. Unless the customer physically tries on the exact style and size, it is impossible to predict with absolute certainty which size you need. Therefore, the final size decision is ALWAYS the customer’s. As a rule of thumb, when in doubt, order the larger size. It is generally better to have a dress that is too big and alter it down then to have a dress that is too small and unalterable.
Q. Are the dresses custom made to my measurements?
A. No, measurements are only taken to help us determine which is the most likely size that will fit you best. All special order dresses still use standard off-the-rack bridal sizing. In fact, unlike street wear, bridal and bridesmaid dresses are not made to fit the “average girl” but to accommodate as many different body types as possible. As a result, you almost always need to take in the bust and shorten the hem.
Q. We are ordering our dresses from another store out of town, can you take our measurements?
A. No, we only take measurements when you order the dress from us. The minimum required deposit must be made at the time of measurement.
